All good things must end

Well tomorrow morning we start our trek back to the great
state of Alabama. It has been a crazy two weeks here in Arkansas, but I think we are all ready to get back to our lives in Andalusia. So many good things came of this trip it is hard to break it down. We had 4 birthday parties, trips to waterparks, playing outside and inside, shopping, hanging from the rooftops, feeding the goats, shelling peas, enjoying a fish fry, the building of a face book page and a blog....holy cow....it's been busy, but very fun. I don't know when i'll get back to blogging....we'll see how tired Jessie and Sandy become of me borrowing their computer! See most of you very soon!

My Observations

I feel so blessed. I am a wife to a man who willingly puts up with my shenanigans. He understands my need to see my family, although that
leaves him home alone for a couple of weeks. I have two kids who make
me smile on a daily basis and make me feel like I am doing something
worthwhile. Right now, Luke's big thing is giving a hug. Granted it might
be because he is about to be in trouble and he knows it. Sneaky....i'll give him that much, but it also makes me realize how very soon he'll change and be doing
something else and I'll only have the memory of his sneaky little hugs. I have looked
alot this week at pictures of Caroline and have wondered "where in the world has
the time gone?" She has a mind of her own....where did she get that?? She has her own opinions... where in the world did those come from?? She sees things from such a pure innocent little heart....I love that
Have a fun day all y'all thanks for reading

Rain Rain Go Away

Today was another rainy day at the farm. We had a pool party in the pouring down rain...luckily it was indoors. We could have just played in the parking lot! I am playing with how to put pictures on this thing so bear with me.
Luke has said the word "Grammy" much to my mother's delight!

No Big Kids Allowed

There are "no-brainers" in the world of parenting. Taking kids to a huge indoor play place when it is raining cats and dogs is one of those. The cousins were all together in rare form and had a great time. Luke panicked on the VERY top of the play thing and I had to go in after him. No one had to call Emergency Services for either of us and I rolled to a stop at the end and everyone was without

injury. A little Benadryl and everyone will have a lovely night of sleep :)

I need help at this blog thing. I have no idea what I'm doing so don't laugh
if you see some strange things show up here. I'll get the hang of it soon enough

I am visiting my parents in Arkansas for two weeks and I am going to use some
of my time to get good at this. I will hopefully post some pictures ...don't
get your hopes up on that one!

Any suggestions? Comments?? PLEASE let me know
